Functional Description
This proximity probe operates as the primary sensing element within a 3300 XL NSv Transducer System. The device emits a high-frequency magnetic field to observe a target area, tracking minute changes in eddy currents caused by shaft movement. Consequently, the sensor translates physical gaps into precise voltage changes, allowing the connected monitor to calculate exact vibration levels. Because the probe tip utilizes a specialized small-diameter build, it remains highly accurate when measuring targets smaller than 51 mm (2 inches) or operating within counterbore restrictions.
