Description

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP2A is a panel view plus AC drive with logic modules that have 128MB of RAM. It has programmable keys that facilitate its functioning on a terminal display. Its keypad also has replaceable legends for 600 terminals, enabling users to create custom function key labels. The 2711P-RP2A provides optimum inventory reduction and flexibility and it eases system upgrades. It can be used for communication via multiple ports where it is integrated with the Factory Talk View Machine Edition software for advanced functionality, which includes data logging, graphics, trending, and Logix addresses direct browsing.

The 2711P-RP2A enables flexible and convenient choices for operator input due to its keypad combination terminals. It provides users with marine-certified and conformal components that meet specific environmental conditions. This part has field replaceable backlights and bezels that have a lifespan of about 50,000 hours. This reduces maintenance costs. The 2711P-RP2A features a 1250 high-bright display, which is necessary for outdoor installations. This device features parameters that reduce screen development time. They do this by reusing one screen with other multiple sets of data. It has a language switch feature that easily changes languages with the touch of a button.  The 2711P-RP2A has remote connectivity, which helps to extend the efficiency of the terminal to browser-based remote users through the Factory Talk Viewpoint software. The keypad of the 2711P-RP2A is designed for bare finger or gloved finger operation. It also features a touchscreen that can be operated with a bare finger, a gloved finger, or a touchscreen stylus having a minimum tip radius of 1.3mm. This prevents damage to the touchscreen since other tools may be too rough on it. Despite the fact that 2711P-RP2A can work with different machines, it lowers the users’ support costs.
