Description

The 1771-P10 is a PLC5 power supply module. This Power supply features a nominal input voltage requirement of 125VDC with voltage range of 97-145VDC. This power supply module has a controlled soft-start feature which enhances the module’s reliability.

This power supply is provided with several ports such as PS Active which provides information about the module’s operating status, P/S parallel port that is used to connect another power supply to form a parallel connection to increase output however, for the 1771-P10, only compatible power supply to be connected in parallel is 1771-P10 as well. When these power supplies are in parallel, the output is 16A. It also has a Power Switch to activate the module, Input Fuse to protect the voltage source and wiring. The fuse specifications are 1.5A, 250 V, slow blow fuse. A terminal strip is provided at the bottom of the power supply to provide input wiring connection points.

To install this power supply to the chassis, turn off the existing power supply if there is any. Position the PCB on the rear of the Power Supply module, following the tracks located on top and bottom of the I/O chassis. If there is some resistance, do not force the power supply module instead, re-engage and apply even pressure. Once connected, snap the chassis latch to secure the module connection. Proceed with input wiring tasks.

To connect the power supply in parallel, use a paralleling cable with part number 1771-CT. Connect both ends of this cable to the P/S Parallel port while connect in parallel the input wiring connections to the other power supply.
