Description
The UR-6BH Multilin digital I/O module is unique to other modules and order options because it actually contains two different types of I/O cards. The 6A order code affords the digital I/O module with two Form-A outputs that have voltage and optional current monitoring, and two Form-C outputs. In addition, the unit has 8 digital inputs. Form-A outputs are ideal when fast activation speeds are necessary in either wet or dry contact options. The Form-A outputs have activation speeds that are less than 4ms. Form-A outputs (and SSR outputs) are beneficial to the end user because they can come with optional circuit detection if needed. The UR-6AV does have the optional current monitoring feature. This particular digital I/O module does not have a mechanically latching configuration, but in the event that this order code is selected it can help eliminate the need for a lockout relay. The order code with the most variability is the 6V option order code for a Multilin digital I/O module. This order specification includes 2 Form-A outputs, with optional voltage monitoring, a Form-C output, two outputs that have latching features, and eight digital inputs.
