GE Fanuc IS220PSCAH1A Module

Description

The IS220PSCAH1A is a Serial Communication I/O Pack that is part of the Mark VIe Speedtronic system from General Electric.  One of the last Speedtronic systems released by GE, the Mark VIe included improved running and startup reliability with automatically-maintained emissions control.   This system offered modern Fieldbus technology and equipment-prediction capabilities far more advanced than any previous Speedtronic system. 

The IS220PSCAH1A is used within the Mark VIe system to provide an interface between a serial communication terminal board and up to two I/O Ethernet networks.  The module receives inputs using dual RJ-45 Ethernet connectors and a single three-pin power input.  Outputs are made through a DC-62 pin connector through the terminal board.  

The IS220PSCAH1A is one of two PSCA modules available.  It contains a BPPB processor board. The IS220PSCAH1A  has two Ethernet ports.  These support Ethernet Modbus Master Protocol, which can also be used in a Simplex networking configuration.   ToolboxST allows the attachment of up to 18 Ethernet Modbus stations to a single PSCA module.
