Description
The IS200ESELH2RRR is a GE printed circuit board component for the Mark VI system. This is part of the Speedtronic series for steam or gas turbine management. The Speedtronic series has been successfully managing heavy-duty turbine systems of various sizes and complexities since the release of the first Mark I system in the 1960s. The Mark VI is designed with a PC-based operator interface that runs color graphics (CIMPLICITY) and has ethernet capabilities.
The IS200ESELH2RRR functions as an Exciter Collector board. It receives six logic level gate pulse signals from its corresponding EMIO (a VME style board that manages the input and output of various terminal boards.) These signals are distributed to the EGPA exciter gate pulse amplifier boards that are mounted in the power conversion cabinet. Two ESEL boards are used in redundant systems. One is driven by M1 and the other is driven by M2. The IS200ESELH2RRR contains a single bridge driver.
The IS200ESELH2RRR is built with a narrow front panel. This panel contains three LED lights. It is marked with the board identification number and with the GE logo. The board is also marked with the board number, as well as with the code 6BA01. Most components are marked with reference designators. The board carries two backplane connectors (P1 and P2,) and has multiple integrated circuits, over 75 transistors, over 95 capacitors, and nearly 300 resistors.
