  • The IC200ERM002E extends the capabilities of a VersaMax system by providing additional input and output (I/O) points.

  • It allows for the expansion of PLC or input/output station functionality and increases the number of connected modules.

  • Width: 2.63 inches (66.8 millimeters)

  • Height: 5.04 inches (128 millimeters) (excluding the power supply dimensions)

Power Supply:

  • Requires a power supply to operate connected modules.

  • Additional power booster carriers or power supplies should be connected to the main power supply on this expansion module.

LED Indicators:

  • Three on-board LED lights indicate device status.

Compatibility:

  • Can be used in both multi-rack or single-ended VersaMax input and output expansion systems.

  • Cable length limitations:

    • Multi-rack implementations: Maximum cable length of 15 meters (approximately 50 feet).

    • Single-ended implementations with one expansion rack: Maximum cable length of one meter (approximately 3.3 feet).

Data Transfer Rates:

  • Data transfer rates are either 5 megabits per second or 2.765 megabits per second, depending on the implementation.

Expansion Ports:

  • Features two 26-pin female D-shell expansion ports:

    • Top port: Inbound expansion cable.

    • Bottom port: Used for daisy chaining the next expansion rack or connecting to the terminator plug.

Backplane Current Options:

  • Backplane current options: 5 volts or 3.3 volts.

  • Current consumption:

    • For 5V backplanes: 70 milliamps

    • For 3.3V backplanes: 20 milliamps
