Description

The DS3800NOAA1F1D is a PCB manufactured by GE for their Mark IV series.  This series was developed for gas/steam turbine management and has improved efficiency due to some processes being automated (startup/cool down/shut down.)  The Mark IV can also be used to monitor air, fuel and water emissions.

The DS3800NOAA1F1D has one extractor clip located in each right corner of the board.  Extractors aid in insertion and extraction of PCBs, especially from tight locations; the clips give technicians a lever point or a handle to grab on to rather than hold on to the board itself.   The upper edge of the DS3800NOAA1F1D is marked for alignment, and each corner has been factory-drilled.
