Description
The GE Digital I/O Board DS200TCDAH1BHE features 8 jumpers, one LED on the side of the board, and 2 3-pin connectors. It also contains 1 block of 10 LEDs and 2 50-pin connectors. The DS200TCDAH1BHE also contains test points that a qualified servicer can use to test the multiple circuits in the board. The servicer will use testing equipment with probes to diagnose the circuits and determine a resolution to any problems with the board. The equipment must be calibrated for use on the board for the specific type of testing. Also, the probes must be compatible with the equipment also. The probes must be in good condition. To use the testing points, the servicer touches the test points with the probes and examines the readings resulting from running current through the circuit.
One method to determine the health of the board is to glance at the board while the drive is operational and if the green LED flashes, it indicates the board is receiving power and is functioning normally. If the drive is not operating, the LED will not be lit. In that case, apply current to the drive and wait for the LED to lit, indicating the board is functioning.
