Description

The Allen-Bradley 2711-T10C15 is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) product that is part of the PanelView standard operator terminals. This HMI device is used in many industrial applications, whether factory or process automation requirements. This device enables centralized monitoring and control through the embedded display and operator interface and actively communicates with partner automation devices via the built-in communication interfaces.
Specifically, the 2711-T10C15 is a PanelView 1000 Color terminal with touchscreen interface. The display screen is an Active Matrix Thin-Film Resistor (TFT) with Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) Backlight with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and screen size of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in.). This screen comes with embedded touch sensitive cells that enables the touchscreen interface of this HMI device. The touch cells individually measures 26 x 30 pixels with a total of 384 touch cells distributed in 384 (24 columns x 16 rows). For exchanging data with partner automation devices such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), the 2711-T10C15 comes with embedded ControlNet communication port that supports the ControlNet industrial protocol. It also comes with a dedicated RS232 printer port which may be configured to interface with alarm and events printers.
